  • This hole in the wall place has been winning the hearts and appetite of locals and tourists due to its impressive and delicious grilled meats! Following the recommendation of my foodie guru (a big thanks to Shank) we planted ourselves on the next available seating….this place rocks….a very good sign of what is to come! We ordered pecho (10/10), paa (10/10), liver (10/10), gizzards (10/10), chicken butt (1000/10), garlic rice (10/10), and liempo (10/10.) Accompanying chicken oil poured over the garlic rice elevated the foodie experience up another notch!!! Now, here is the secret of the deep Filipino immersion….”kamayan”……using the bare hands to feel the food and feed the soul….amen to that!!! The smoky grilled taste and the savory flavors of the meats are unforgettable!!!!!!!!! After your meal, you were given a wooden spoon to bring to the ice cream man just outside the door and you can choose your free ice cream flavors!! This restaurant deserves a 5/5 stars! They know what they’re doing!!!!

  • For the best eating experience, request for the chickens fresh off the grill. My 1st round was cooked chicken waiting to be served, my second round was cooked upon request. Very humble set up, so be mindful what you look like keep it simple and don’t bring items you wouldn’t want stolen.

  • Recommended by a friend, CHE Bacolod Chicken was the closest I could taste to a true Bacolod Chicken Express. Dubbed by Makatizen’s as Makati’s affordable and best Bacolod Chicken, I was eager to have my tastebuds on their Pecho. While affordable, it was intimidating due to the long line. We went on a Monday evening and the line was already longer than a payday sale on a grocery store. But it moved faster than expected as the staff were very accommodating to sit us near the entrance. While the Pecho was delectable, tender and fresh (without relying too much on sauces to make me devour it in one sitting), I knew it was delectable when I ordered extra rice and drizzled it in chicken oil as I took every bite with my greasy hands (up to the last drop.) I agree with most patrons to not visit this place on peak hours (or if you’re hungry). But I highly recommend this place and I would surely crave it again and wouldn’t mind commuting to have my hands on that Pecho again (and maybe next time I’d order three cups of rice this time)

  • Chicken inasal here is insanely good! Consistently Perfectly seasoned, good char, juicy meat Love how flavor bursts in the mouth on the first bite & lingers while the light and crispy skin breaks down, this is the best part. Succeeding bites build on the initial flavor and next thing you know, ubos na. Note: Alfresco dining. Place is always packed & it is hot inside. Part of the charm ig

  • Still the best pecho and liempo in Makati!!! I was a suki from 2017 to 2019, and its been 6 years since my last visit. i still remember when liempo was my go to dinner for just ~₱75 (+garlic rice with extra garlic chips!) super missed it, and im glad the taste has not changed! the owners are still as hands on and warm with their service as before. unlike before when i could get a table in 3 to 5 minutes, now there is a long queue (became extra popular bec of tiktok) and they have even extended the shop. the food servicing is still fast, food arrived after 5-8 mins after being seated. true filipino local experience P.S : If youre super hungry, do not attempt to visit on peak hours

  • C.H.E. is my go to whenever I want something comforting and reliable. The food is consistently good, and it always hits the spot. They now have an air conditioned dining area, which is perfect for solo diners like me. The ordering system has improved a lot since my last visit, and the waiting experience is much better too. There are proper seats and even an electric fan while you wait. Tip: don’t forget to grab a free postcard on your way out.

  • C.H.E Bacolod Inasal was really, really good. The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and properly grilled, so much so that my partner is still thinking about it. It honestly comes very close to the real Bacolod Inasal, which says a lot. If you’re craving authentic-tasting inasal in Makati, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.
